Snapped Up: Miami Horror Block Party

Tucked away inside the La Di Da Laneway, the only giver away of the party’s happenings was the Miami-mobil/photobooth parked outside the venue.

The event was held in the honour of Melbourne’s own indietronica legends, Miami Horror. Having just dropped their  latest five track release, The Shapes, a block party to celebrate was definitely in order.

The event saw day turn to night, when the sun retired for the evening, fairy lights and smiles illuminated the laneway. Trust me when I say it wasn’t just lit, it was lit.

The balance between the indoor vicinity of La Di Da and its outdoor environment was truly a match made in heaven. It was an intimate affair with all the warmth of a larger scale music festival.

Of course the tunes provided by the killer line-up were the beating soul of the event. Live performances included Touch Sensitive, Running Touch and headliners, Miami Horror, just to name a few.

Miami Horror, it was an honour to cut shapes with you guys IRL. We want to relive it all over again, thank god we snapped it all up on camera.
