Guys, I just want to take a moment to be super vulnerable with you right now. My relationship with food has always been a battle. I’ve been through some really low lows and this book is a homage to my journey. I truly felt like I was lifting a weight off my shoulders with every word I wrote (#girlswholift), and it just reminded me why I do this in the first place. This book includes a combination of anecdotes and recipes that mean so much to me. I truly cannot wait to share it with you. Books, books, books galore – only at Readings! #ad. Anyway, as you and my 1034 other followers may have seen today (thanks gang, I can’t believe how fast this family is growing #team #fighters #motherfitters), my partner and I went for a run at the beach this morning with our gorgeous dog, Pilates. We were there from dawn to sunset (#goldenhour), trying to get the perfect shot for you guys. We hardly did any running but we moved heaps for the photo—never stand still, guys!
So, after that super long day, we went home. There, I was feeling so thirsty and tired, I chugged a huge glass of a sugar-free Coke and took a nice long bath. Obviously, in the tub I had to keep moving so I just swam up and down. It’s really that easy! It was so fun and such an easy way to incorporate exercise in your everyday activities. Just make sure you don’t drink the water!
Let’s get down to it though, guys! As you all know, I’ve tried heaps of diets. The Stand-on-one-leg-while-eating-small-meals-in-three-hour-intervals diet, the Chew-fast-but-swallow-slow-diet, and the classic Make-eye-contact-with-your-dog-and-feel-so-guilty-that-your-dog-doesn’t-have-your-food-diet but none of them have been very successful.
I can’t wait for tomorrow, it’s finally cheat day. Can’t wait to drink a whole glass of water! Please, remember to always treat yourself, my gang of strength warriors!
