Unadulterated loathing!
A Wattpad story
Glinda threw her books on the table and collapsed onto her bed with a groan. Her plans for a perfect life at Shiz University were falling apart, and the reason — Elphaba.
Glinda knew immediately that she couldn’t be friends with her. She just seemed too different, proudly standing out, refusing to blend in, and catching the headmistress’s attention right away.
When they got assigned as roommates, things got worse. Elphaba challenged Glinda in every way, never backing down, outshining her at every opportunity. Their rivalry was mutual, intense, and exhausting. What frustrated Glinda most, though, was that the more time she spent with Elphaba, the thinner her hatred became. A small part of her wanted to be closer to her.
Glinda closed her eyes for a moment, letting out a big sigh, then the door creaked open. Elphaba walks in with a bag slung over her shoulder, giving Glinda a single glance before rolling her eyes.
“Oh, you’re back. I thought you’d be out kissing the headmistress’s shoes”, Elphaba says while walking to her side of the room.
Glinda feels her face heat up. She stands from her bed and strides toward Elphaba, cornering her against the wall as her frustration bubbles over.
“I’m so sick of you messing everything up,” she snapped, stepping closer. “You walk around like you’re better than everyone, like being different makes you special. And the worst part? You’ve gotten under my skin. I can’t stop thinking about you, and I hate it.”
That’s when Glinda finally noticed how close they were. How Elphaba’s breath subtly grazed her upper lip, and the faint sound of her heart beating from her chest.
Something shifted. Elphaba, normally aloof and guarded, gently took hold of Glinda’s waist and reversed their positions. Now, Glinda was the one pressed against the wall, breath catching as Elphaba stepped closer. Their faces were mere inches apart.
“You think about me that much?” Elphaba whispered, voice low and tickled with amusement. Glinda can feel herself getting red, but she doesn’t move away. When Elphaba’s fingers trailed upwards from her waist to her chest, Glinda gasped, torn between resistance and need.
It escalated quickly. Glinda doesn’t know who moved first. But she knows the sensual feeling of another set of lips against her. It’s soft at first, then urgent. Hands tangled in hair, mouths meeting again and again. Glinda’s body reacted instinctively, grinding down against Elphaba’s thigh, chasing a pleasure she didn’t fully understand but couldn’t deny. Elphaba’s touch was confident, deliberate, and Glinda found herself helpless under it.
Words dissolved into breathy moans. Elphaba’s mouth traced along her neck, finding the spots that made Glinda cry out. Her touches left Glinda trembling, overwhelmed by sensation. She gave in completely, whispering Elphaba’s name, losing herself in the moment until—
“Glinda, are you okay?”
Her eyes flew open. Ceiling. Bedroom. Elphaba stood at the door, watching her with concern. Glinda blinked slowly while lifting her hands to her face.
It had all been a dream.
Flushing deeply, Glinda muttered a vague response and threw an arm over her face. She couldn’t believe it. A sex dream. About Elphaba. The girl that everyone knows she hates with a passion.
Elphaba sat down on her bed, unaware of the chaos swirling around in Glinda’s head. Glinda peeked at her from beneath her arm, watching the girl who haunted her dreams.
This crush is going to be a nightmare.
